"Their stage presence is fun" "I am always impressed"
Behind the Sun, Red Hot Chili Pepper tribute band, put on an amazing performance at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, GA. It was an awesome experience working with them during the planning and execution of the benefit concert! People are still talking about how awesome and faithful they are to the original band. Their stage presence is fun and everyone attending the concert was rocking out while they played our favorite songs. I am always impressed with their musical abilities every time I see them perform. I recommend Behind the Sun for any occasion and I hope to work with them again in the future!

"I would recommend them to anyone"
We had the Behind the Sun, Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band on Friday night, January 30th. Unfortunately, we had to bring the party inside due to weather concerns. We set up in the chapter hall and the guys worked on tuning and levels for a few hours, making sure that the sound was as good as possible. With the costumes and sound, it was quite a performance. We had a great time listening and dancing to Behind the Sun, who played for far longer than we expected. We had a great time with the guys, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cover band for their next party.

Behind the Sun hails from Atlanta, and band members are determined to "fly the freak flags high" and encourage audience members to do the same. This group of four is comprised of members from three previous bands with different backgrounds and styles of music. But one thing remains constant: members' ever-growing appreciation and love for the incredible music that comes from the RHCP.When asked why this talented group of musicians decided to become a tribute band, they simply stated: "We figured out if you look up the definition of tribute, it's all in there. A tribute (what I feel we are doing for them, with them) when you tribute something it is something that is done out of respect and admiration. We are giving mad respect to them. This is how we can acknowledge that to them."Being in a tribute band is no easy task. You not only have to learn the songs accurately in every aspect, from the bass lines to the guitar solos to the vocals, but you also have to emulate the characteristics of the band members.Lead vocalist Rev St. Pierre owns the stage, serving up the deep, smooth sounds just like Anthony Kiedis in songs such as "Give it Away" with its quick, challenging lyrics and one of my personal favorites, "The Zephyr Song." Their shows are always a sexual funk show. It's all about having a good time and being totally obnoxious on stage.
